It is scientifically proven, that a trial program, has to take place for at least 3 years, in the same geographical area, in order for it, to be agronomically reliable and have a higher statistical value.
AMERICAN genetics Inc. creates every year the following trials and research tests, in specific areas of every country, for each cultivar.
1. Hybrid Corn
In every country of our distribution, we plant two or three experimental fields, of 16 to 20 hybrids, 4 replications of each hybrid, in microplots. One of those experimental fields, can be visited by our distributors and their customers.
Ten to twenty comparative trial fields, comprised of 4 rows each, of 6 to 10 hybrids. All of our comparative trial fields, can be visited by our distributors and their customers.
2. Hybrid Sorghum
In our distribution territory, at least one experimental field is planted, with 4 replications of 6 to 8 hybrids. In addition, we also conduct three comparative field trials, of 4 to 6 hybrids. All of our trial fields, can be visited by our distributors and their customers.
3. Alfalfa
In the southern Mediterranean countries, we plant every spring, one experimental field, with 4 replications of 10 to 12 varieties. We also plant, 2 comparative field tests every spring, of 6 to 8 varieties. Where apropriate, we plant comparative field tests during autumn. All our trial fields, can be visited by our distributors and their customers.
